Sign a Tyle was founded in 2013 by Bro. Stuart Campbell P.M. of Lodge Thistle Operative No.158 on the role of the Grand Lodge of Scotland.

It is his aim to use this site to bring masons from all walks of life together, to create a tool that will allow brethren to interact with one another and to find lodges and meetings wherever they may be. It is also his aim to use Sign a Tyle to raise funds for worthy and charitable causes through various mediums, including advertising, which in turn will help raise the profile of freemasonry.

Sign a Tyle is a not for profit website and therefore is not concerned with share prices and profit margins. The main focus of Sign a Tyle is create a hub where lodges can have a completely FREE online presence and for brethren to keep in touch with one another, also to make it easier to find meetings and new friends all in the same place.
