General recommendation to install or upgrade YouNet apps on phpFox 4.4

In order to help you more convenient to install or upgrade our phpFox apps after upgrading your phpFox site to version 4.4, we are glad to provide our general recommendations as below:

1) Fully back up your site, including source code, static files and database.

2) Uninstall any V3 modules on your site

– Go to AdminCP >> Modules, click UnInstall at V3 modules of YouNet

– Clear cache in each uninstallation

3) Uninstall any V4 apps of YouNet that haven’t been installed from phpFox Store before, except YouNetCore & Mobile Application

– Go to Admin Panel >> Apps, click on YouNet’s apps and then Uninstall button at the bottom-right corner.

– Clear cache in each uninstallation.

4) Keep V4 apps of YouNet installed from phpFox Store.

Then, you can install / upgrade all of your YouNet’s apps normally by going into AdminCP >> Apps >> Purchase History, click on YouNet’s apps and then click “Get it” button to install / upgrade.

– If FTP account is asked, please choose other option from drop-down box as “File System” option.

– Then, please click “Rebuild Core Theme” & “Clear Cache” at AdminCP >> Maintenance on each installation/upgrade

Please note that you may have issue of a blank page when rebuilding Core Theme, please try to increase memory limit of PHP to at least 256MB and check again.
